At this point we want to intentionally be hospitable so that we can meet our divine connections. The text is talking about prosperity that does not come through financial investment but it comes according to God’s design. In God’s economy it is generosity that determines prosperity. We must give in order to gain. The one who waters will be watered also. This brings to mind divine provision of God through the people who come our way sometimes claiming to be needy. Many people keep asking God to bring to them their divine contacts but are unwilling to share a grind of salt with one who is in need beside them. In God’s policy, divine connection easily comes when we are open to refresh others. Take intentional steps to refresh others today.
Reflection
God blesses hands that are open to give.
Prayer
Ask God for grace to be intentional in refreshing others.
