What can be the reason why giving in the church today is poor? May be we have not understood what it means to partner with God or our hearts are not in the best postures. In our text for today, we learn that people who partner with God must do so with a willing heart. A willing heart is also a generous heart. God does not define the quantity of the gift He wants from His people. He only defines the state of the heart from which He expects this gift. God cares about the heart from which gifts come to Him. When you put you trust in Jesus, God welcomes you willingly into His kingdom not grudgingly. Put your heart in the best posture by imitating God and giving willingly and generously.
