Hospitality is more than opening your door—it’s about creating an atmosphere where peace flourishes and people are uplifted. In Romans 14:19, Paul urges believers to pursue peace and build one another up. This is especially meaningful in the context of hospitality, where people from different backgrounds and opinions struggle to come together. In a world filled with division and tension, Christian hospitality becomes a powerful witness when our homes—and hearts—become places of welcome, calm, and encouragement. It’s not about having perfect meals or spotless rooms, but about intentionally making others feel safe, valued, and strengthened. Let us pursue peace in our lives as individuals and above all in the community of believers in order to wipe out division, promote mutual edification, and unity in the church of God.
Reflection
Hospitality should build up.
Prayer
Ask God to give a desire to pursue peace in the church. Pray for CBC: Thank God for the Boys’ Brigade Ministry and pray that more boys will be won to Christ through this ministry.
