In 1 Corinthians 6:15-20, Paul reminds believers that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, bought with a price. This means that Christians are called to honor God with their bodies and avoid any behavior that defiles this sacred temple. Immorality and sin not only harm us physically but spiritually as well, as they hinder our relationship with God. Consider the way you treat your body and its purity. Are there areas in your life where you have allowed immorality or sin to take root? Seek to honor God in all areas of your life, especially in your physical body, by making choices that align with His will.
Reflection
Your body is God’s temple, and it must be kept holy.
Prayer
Pray that God would help you to see your body as His temple and give you the strength to honor Him by keeping it pure. Ask for wisdom and guidance to flee from all that defiles your body and spirit.
