Many people do not like giving their resources out whether to church or to needy people in the society because they feel the poor can never pay back. But the principle of God is that showing kindness to the poor is lending to Him. Essentially, when you extend your hand to the impoverished, you extend it to God Himself, who ensures your repayment. This echoes the divine principle of justice and reward that no one gives to the poor and goes unrewarded. Let us be intentional in preserving our resources by using them to take care of the poor with the assurance that God will reward us. These poor people might never have anything to give us, but our hope is in the promise of God’s reward.
Reflection
Preserve your resources by taking care of the poor.
Prayer
Pray that God gives you the ability to take care of the poor focusing on the reward that comes from Him.
