In Job 1:4-5, we see a clear picture of Job’s integrity. His actions went beyond his personal righteousness; they extended to his family. His integrity was not only about his own conduct but about ensuring that his family also walked in the fear of the Lord. Job, as a man of integrity, regularly interceded for his children, offering sacrifices on their behalf in case they had sinned. This demonstrates his responsibility as a father, showing that integrity in one’s personal life is complemented by care for others, especially those close to us. Integrity in family life involves leading by example and interceding for the well-being of others. Integrity extends beyond personal righteousness and should be reflected in how we guide and care for those entrusted to us.
Reflection
A person of integrity shows deep care for their family and community.
Prayer
Suggestion for Prayer: Ask God to help you be a godly example to your family and to have the strength to intercede for them as Job did. Pray for the CBC: Pray for the life, ministry and family of Rev Jumbuin Enoch, CBC Field Pastor Yaounde Field.
