By saying, “Love never fails,” it means that God’s type of love will not fall or falter. It is constant forever. As God says “I have loved you with an everlasting love”(Jeremiah 31:3). In contrast with other gifts that come to an end, love does not. There is a time that this earthly knowledge, prophecies, and tongues will not be needed because they are imperfect and partial (vv 9-10). There is nothing inconstant about love. It is not based on impulses, feelings, or passing desires. Love is an everlasting fountain that flows unceasingly intended to benefit the one loved, regardless of the cost. God’s love never fails, and it never ends. Cling to source of love and it will benefit your life.
Reflection
As God has no end so does love.
Prayer
Pray God to bless your life with His unending love.
